In Islam’s body of literature, there is a reputable story that Prophet Muhammad prescribed camel urine for stomach problems. Variants of the story are relayed by both Mohamed al-Bukhari and Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj (respected compilers of such tales).
Of course, I am paraphrasing in the below cartoon.
This is heavy stuff, and I must say that most Muslims I know wouldn’t touch the brew; but I’m sad to say, some would. Unrelenting smart-ass that I am, I still don’t know where to begin with this story. What thinking person would drink camel urine unless they thought God told them it was a good idea?
