Over the Fourth of July weekend I celebrated like any warm-blooded American: I overindulged the liquor companies and shot off a few fireworks.  At some point during this haze I managed to convert Patheos contributor Andrew Hall to Islam.  It took me two appearances on his show, the Naked Diner, but it finally happened.  It is ironic that I could not bring anyone into the faith when I was a Muslim and only managed this feat facetiously after becoming a soulless heathen.

If hearing a non-native Arabic speaker with a Boston accent recite the Arabic shahadah (the testament of faith which makes one a Muslim) after hypothetically being promised sex slaves sounds like a good time, then take a listen to Episode 38 of the Naked Diner.
